Arff, Meow, Chirp, Moo!! I am cuckoo-cuckoo for
cocoa-puffs creatures!! Of all shapes & sizes!! I do not discriminate based on species or breed. I love and adore them all!! I love them probably more than I should. I cannot imagine loving anything more than I love animals. Period. Especially dogs. And cats. And birds. And pigs. And goats. And cows. And, oh yeah, dogs.
I have always had a special fondness for animals. Ever since I was a wee-lil-one, I remember identifying with Dr. Dolittle, and that continues to this day. I talk to them and *know* they understand every single word I say to them. They bring me pure joy and happiness.
Craig and I (currently) have six kids in our furry family. They are our children and we treat them as such. They all have child names (along with a gazillion-billion-trillion nicknames).
Liliana Bella, aka Lillie is our oldest. She is a ten-year old Shiba Inu. She believes she is the boss of her younger siblings.
Next, is Penelope Louise, aka Pennie. She is a seven-year old Malchi; half Maltese and half Chihuahua. She is, well… Pennie.
Next, is our very first kitty, Katherine Elizabeth, aka Katie. She is a three-year old purebred American Wirehair, coming from two Grand Champion Show cat parents.
After Katie, is our one and only baby boy, Henry Walter, aka Henry. He is Katie’s biological brother from another litter; he is two-and-a-half years old. (Their entire fascinating story will be featured in a separate blog post.)
Next up, is Charlotte Rhiannon, aka Charlie. She is a one-and-a-half year old Beagle who is still ALL puppy.
Finally, is our newest addition, Daphnie Beatrice, aka Daphnie. She is an American Pitbull and is just a baby at four months old. She is very special; Special in the most magnificent of ways; and I’ll leave it at that for now…
